I sit around at the PC with nothing much on my mind. Of course I have a beer at this hour, it’s like 9:22 P.M. on a hump day. I was inspired by @editorspence to write you guys and gals and others a new post on what I’ve been up to…which is difficult for me. I’ve been on an adventure, a 6 month and 22 day adventure. So the difficult part is wrapping up all that time and experience of freedom into a couple of posts, but you know what I’m going to do? Edge you all with little blips and stories for the rest of our days. Hope you’re ready.
I’m working on a novel that includes all my stories from my journey, it’s just going to take me awhile. But who isn’t writing a novel? I don’t need patience, just because I don’t care. If I get this thing down on paper in 10 years, I’ll be happy with that timeline, I have no deadlines at this point. I have a new life view and I’m okay with that. I walked 2k+ miles thru 14 states. Georgia to Maine. I did something spectacular. Here is the picture of me on the last mountain.
I hope you see it, gotcha. Anyways, writing for me has changed, because I’ve changed as a person. This is not just me saying this, other people have noticed. My writing has become easier, fluid, and I’m more content with communicating.
Soon we the editors at the SMP will drop Mouths, the flagship edition of our journal. We’ve been apart for awhile, if you read Spence’s last blog post then you know that he is in Japan! Super cool and I got the chance to chat it up with him about his going-on’s the other day. Miss my bruddah.
I just wanted to let everyone know that contributed to SMP for Mouths, that we are working to get your submissions in order and edited and eventually published. We are working on a special thing for you all, hoping that you find it worth it to house your work on our site! Both Spence and I are happy to work on this little hobby of ours.
Anyways, hope you all are well and I’ll keep you updated.
